Information for media accredited to cover MINEPS VI in Kazan:


Media representatives were able to pick up their accreditation badges upon presentation of their passport at the reception desk (hotel entrance, the desk is on the left side). They were strongly advised to carry their badge throughout the conference. 

Press facilities

The Shostakovich Hall served as the press centre for media representatives during the conference. Equipped and unequipped work areas were available for journalists’ use at the press centre. 


Plenaries of the conference were open for media coverage in case seats were available in the hall.


Request forms for media scrums and interviews could be submitted at the press centre of the conference in case the wanted delegates were free. 

Press activities

According to the MINEPS VI programme, a press conference was held at the Tolstoy Hall on July 15, 2017, featuring UNESCO's Assistant Director-General for Social and Human Sciences Nada Al-Nashif, President of MINEPS, Minister of Sport of the Russian Federation Pavel Kolobkov and other delegates of the conference. 

Press services for accredited media

Accommodation. The Nogai Hotel (16B Profsoyuznaya St., Kazan) was the official media accommodation. 

Transportation. Мedia representatives who booked rooms at the media hotel were provided with meet and greet services at the official arrival/departure points (Kazan International Airport, Kazan-1 (Kazan Passazhirskaya) Railway Station, Kazan-2 (Vosstaniye) Railway Station).

There was also shuttle service arranged from the media hotel to the official conference venue – Korston Hotel (1a Ershova St., Kazan).
